rogram Details
Beginning on June 1, 2006 under Immigration Canada's Off-Campus Work Permit Program, students will be able to work part time (maximum 20 hours per week) off-campus during their normal school year or 40 hours per week during the vacation period.
Program Requirements
Student applicants:
- Must be in good academic standing with no failed grades in the last two semesters
- Must have paid their full fees (current up to date), and
- Must have been a full time student in a professional program for six of the last 12 months
Forms Required:
Forms are available on the CIC website and in the International Student Centre:
- The application fee and receipt - $150 to Immigration
- Change of Conditions Form
- Verification Form (IMM 5581)
- Student Acknowledgement and Consent Form (IMM 5582)
- Document Checklist (IMM 5583)
- Student completes form
- Admission Center determines if student meets basic program requirements
- If forms are complete and student meets the basic program requirements, the Cdmission Centre forwards the documents to the Registrar, to have the documents approved and stamped.
- Student picks up stamped documents should photocopy documents for any
future reference and mail them in a large envelope to the address given in
this link

- Write your name and address at the top left-hand corner of the envelope. Have the post office weight your envelope to ensure you put sufficient postage on it.
