This is a one year Computer Animation - Digital Character Animation program.
The program offers student intensive training in a specialized, highly sought-after computer animation skill. Designed in response to industry demand, this post-graduate program offers an exciting opportunity: With just eight months of study and the proper amount of dedication, computer animation school graduates and young industry professionals can launch or advance their careers.Student will learn the entire process of creating memorable characters/creatures, from script to storyboard to modeling and rigging, all the way through to post-production. Eligibility criteria
Computer Animation Program or equivalent

A postsecondary diploma or degree in the visual or fine arts
and/or
Four years of demonstrated competence through relevant work experience

and
- Response to a questionnaire
- Portfolio
A portfolio review fee is required with the submission.

Features of the Program
This is a one year program which develops a highly marketable computer animation specialty.
This intensive, specialized two-semester program prepares student to step directly
into a career producing VFX for movies, television, advertising, video games,
and Web applications.
Designed for working computer animators and/or computer animation school
graduates, the digital visual effects program focuses on both the conceptual and
technical aspects of VFX. Working with professional-grade equipment in the
Sheridan Centre for Animation and Emerging Technologies (SCAET), one is able to
produce a portfolio of advanced VFX work that includes:
- Synthetic worlds and simulated natural environments
- Animated VFX within live-action film
- Seamless matches for lighting, texture, and camera moves
- Set extensions
- Natural and human-made catastrophes
