Animation
Computer Annimation: It is a one year program. Student will learn to communicate, using computer animation as his instrument. During eight months of intensive hands-on training, he will work with the same high-end 3-D computer animation software, technology, and techniques the professionals use ? but he will also learn:
- Story structure
- Character development
- Acting
- Directing
- Cinematography
- Art direction
- Production design
Eligibility criteria
- A postsecondary diploma or degree in the visual or fine arts
and/or
- Four years of demonstrated competence through relevant work experience
Applicants must be competent in Adobe Photoshop and Windows or the Macintosh
Operating Systems. Applicants will be expected to have these competencies prior
to the start of the program.
Selection Criteria
Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of:
- Demonstrated competence through related work and/or educational experience
and
- Response to a questionnaire
- Portfolio
A portfolio review fee is required with the submission.
Postsecondary transcripts, indicating courses completed to date, must be
submitted along with the application
